Drawing on inspiration from mythology, music, classic literature and consumer culture, I construct atmospheric worlds that feel like fragments of our inner experience and external reality. My artistic approach is driven by a desire to take the viewer on a journey that feeds the senses and invites moments of pause, reflection and celebration.
Born and raised in southern Germany, I grew up trilingual and have long felt a pull towards the Anglo-American world. My recent Antipodean years added to my artistic perspective in new ways, infusing it with inspiration from Australia's coastal lifestyle and untamed beauty.
